Flores Mexican Restaurant in Austin

The service was awesome! But the food wasn't super high end. I ordered 2 cheese and 1 chicken enchilada. The chicken was a little chewy, but I did enjoy the cheese enchilada! Their strawberry margarita was also very delicious. Good for the price, but not the best Mexican place around

Great people and classic Tex-Mex dishes done well. The remodeling they did while the dining room was closed to the public looks great.

Food, service and atmosphere was fantastic! Flores is the best down home Mexican food around.

Food was exceptional and the service very good as well.I had the Enchilada Poblana and it was wonderful.Their salsa has a nice kick to it, courtesy of what seems like a generous amount of cayenne pepper. We will definitely be back.

Incredibly good mexican food with strong drinks. Highly recommended. Queso is out of this world. Gonzo plate an ole go to. Fish bowl frozen margaritas incredible. Service is very good as well. They are always right there to refill your drinks or bring you more chips.

Nice food. Very festive interior. There is a bar and outdoor seating. Food was pretty good. Good salsa and plenty of parking.

The chips and salsa were good. Ordered basic street tacos and got some type of meat with a texture of rubber coated in a flaming hot red sauce. Won’t be back. I enjoy real Mexican food.

Eh, probably wont go back. To-go service was ok, food was so-so and nothing to write home about, salsa was more like soup. $30 for 2 large "22" ounce margaritas to go - came in a 12 ounce cup of mix and two 1-ounce bottles of tequila. We asked "wheres the 22 ounces?" the reply was the "rest would normally be made up in ice" so that was a total and complete rip off. $90 later for 2 lame margaritas and two meals = not returning. I'm beginning to think Austin can't do Mexican, nor Tex-Mex.

Average food. Good drinks. Nice outdoor space as long as kids aren't going crazy on climbing structure (but great for families with kids). We were seated outside, 6 of us, and were the last table. At 9:00 the staff turned on bright spotlights because they wanted to start cleaning up. Essentially told us our time was up and that we had to leave, after just having delivered a round of drinks! Very poor customer focus by management, even though our waiter was great.

Cheese enchiladas were good... Also like the stuffed avocado... Good service in the bar area.. Recommend

Excellent food, very clean and practicing social distancing! The sampler plate made a great meal and the salsa has the perfect heat!!

Love the playground and the food is good. They have a margarita with a champagne floater that makes my heart happy. The only reason I have to give it three stars and not more is the past two times we have been there and sat on the patio, our service has been horrible. Once waited on, the staff is nice, but for the past two visits it's taken 30-45 minutes just to get a drink order. Inside we haven't had the same problem, but we prefer to sit outdoors so we are close to the playground where the kids are playing. If they can ensure they have ample service coverage it will improve the experience significantly.

Was having a horrible day to begin with so I let it all slide.....but my food did not come out the way I ordered it...really......spicey chicken or beef....and I get boiled no flavor chicken tacos....I ordered a margarita... comes out in a wine glass....these are simple rules of the service industry....then I had to wait 25 minutes for my.I look over to my right, and my server is on his cell 2 tables over ..

Chips and salsa were excellent. Service was excellent. Ordered tilapia fish tacos served with salad and rice and beans. Food was bland.
